I am a language enthusiast and a Cambridge University Languages Graduate (French and Spanish major, with Portuguese and Catalan supplementary studies). I have attended more than 10 residential language courses across France and Spain over the years and lived in Mexico and Geneva, working as an English teacher for a combined 3 years.
Since then I have privately tutored French and Spanish for the past 20 years whilst developing a marketing/communications career in parallel.
In 2019 I decided to formally set up my languages business, naming it Quick Fix Language Solutions, as per the swift progress my students make with me.
I really understand the challenges of learning a language and how to fast-track success. With my enthusiastic and upbeat style, I make sure my students find the tuition both fun and productive, helping them to reach their goals quickly.
I tutor all ages and levels, from 8-year olds, to GCSE/A Level students, business professionals and people learning for leisure and travel.
Since 2020 I have been offering structured group courses for adult leisure learners of Spanish, catering for Beginner (A1), Elementary (A2), Improver (A2-B1), Lower (B1), Mid (B1-B2) and Higher (B2) Intermediate levels. These courses have become popular and more courses are in development including for French and one-off Language Taster Events in French and Spanish.
Since 2020 I have also taught English online to people all over the world through some online platforms and this is an expanding and very important part of my business.
I also provide professional translations from French and Spanish into my native English in a variety of contexts.
